Fundamentals of Management in Physical Therapy: A Roadmap for Intention and Impact helps to strengthen the development of transferable management skills and pragmatic business knowledge for physical therapists. This book will help physical therapist students, academic faculty, clinical faculty, adjunct faculty, and clinicians learn how to manage effectively at all levels and in a variety of diverse settings within the profession of physical therapy and within health care teams/organizations. Learners have multiple opportunities to reflect upon and apply practical and relevant information to build fundamental management skills that translate across settings.

The book is a resource to help physical therapist assistants – as students and as practitioners – “manage up and across,” and to strengthen their ability to leverage high performing teams and value-based care.
